Tantalisingly, the alternative venue is a pub 400 yards from The Goose and boasting a very, very special name. Can anyone guess what it is, folks? MMJL you are not allowed to comment. Unlike the Goose, it's meant to be a super little boozer and is surrounded by restaurants and the like in the more genteel part of Walthamstow. If for some reason, the dogs finish early or anyone finishes work early or the Goose is closed down for refurbishment/a drugs bust/hygiene reasons, I'd like to formally suggest this establishment on Orford Road as a stand-in. But the Goose is next to the tube.

VILLAGERS - I'm not going to be online tomorrow and I've been desparately trying to come up with a venue for the start of Thursday's dogging extravaganza. The option I've reluctantly come up with is the pub opposite Walthamstow Central called the "Goose and Granite." It gets a remarkable 2.4/10 on beerintheevening. It's a 1830 start. Can someone do the honours and translate the above information into a suitably pithy news story? (and then email the same round to the Social List on the gmail) YES Village. Yes.

Why we're missing Fudge from Wiltshire: "And that's it, not much else to say, and nothing else amusing happened....oh wait I forgot about Team Fudge's inspirational leader, Yoda Fudge, aka Stewie Griffin, aka Coops' older, uglier brother. Our hero managed to throw in one of his patented 'Marble Arch' dives to give up an easy boundary, but he was not done yet. A routine skier straight down his throat ended up dislocating one of the sausages he calls fingers. Healy turned down the opportunity to snap it back, so it was time to call the Flying Doctors. Brad II has many talents - batting, bowling, keeping, raping kangaroos, abusing opponents - and sure enough he was able to snap it back. Fudge heroically proceeded to faint, much like Del Boy in the bar, leading to much concern from the worried Wandsworth side. They rushed on to help, taking care to leap over the 10 Economicals who were collapsed on the floor, crying with laughter. Fudge didn't bat, and we missed a batting point by two runs, so no damage was done. It's 10.30pm and I'm still laughing."

What I didn't tell you was that rather than cloud- and Onan-like, depositing my fluid on the ground, the recipient's name began with
a letter that was also her cup size

Nah thats not accurate, the hat was a floppy hat one of those that Korean/ Japanese tourists wear regularly, the jeans were filthy grungy ones, a cricket jumper and a pinstripey blazer, do the math.

Can anyone post a picture on here that does justice to the attire of the Example? I'm thinking this at the moment:

It's good but it's not right

08 July 2008 (16:21)

It was only the addition of his hat that made him look funny.

We were very lucky with the weather. A massive black cloud spent Sunday emptying it's load on a field about 2 miles away, but bizarrely never ventured near our ground. I thought EG looked rather dapper. He brought a smart jacket, which is very important. I neglected to do this, which is very embarrassing.

How come you guys were playing pre-2000 rules?

08 July 2008 (16:10)

Here are my Cornwall thoughts - Mav and Marrow are definitely blood brothers, and extremely competitive ones. They just kept on playing some game or the other. At Chess the scores were 3- nil to Marrow and table tennis it was 1-1, but I am sure I may have missed out on the final games, and then the two found brotherly love on a small boat, Saul was a hit amongst all the middle aged ladies so was Mav, but Saul seemed more threatening, and I did dress quite weirdly but that’s cause I didn't expect the English weather to have such an impact on my dress sense.

The Example was thoroughly beaten by myself at pool I should add. 4-0. As punishment, I tried to teach him darts.
